  • We have put into effect social distancing measures, and although we have always valued the professionalism and respect that comes along with a good introductory handshake and a departing thank you, we ask for your understanding that for the safety and well-being of everyone, there’ll be no handshake or touching of any kind.
  • Upon arrival, our crew will still introduce themselves, walk through the home with appropriate social distance, begin to protect the home with all safeguards like floor runners, and door jams (as they always do), but in addition we ask you now (with all due respect), to please give them the appropriate space they need to safely and efficiently service your move and allow them space to do their job.
  • When available and appropriate, open doorways and windows to increase air circulation and ventilation.
  • We are also taking measures to sanitize the cabs and boxes of our trucks, as well as all blankets, pads, tools and equipment after each and every move to reduce any risk of cross-contamination.
  • It is our hope and our expectation that you will take the same precautionary measures that we are taking, and that will also sanitize and wipe down any and all exposed surfaces and furniture prior to our arrival. Anything that you can do to help keep our working conditions safe and sanitary for our men, is equally appreciated.

Buy or rent a house

While there are many attractions in the Sunshine State, the quality of life is the primary draw for new residents. It’s the perfect place for retirees looking for a slower pace of life and students that finished college. And white glove moving and storage is the best moving company you can choose. However, if you plan to put your home up for rent, you’ll need to think carefully about whether you want to move to Florida temporarily or permanently. Think about how many people you want to have and how much that will cost. Many people go to Florida temporarily and then return to their own state. They never adapted to the unique culture that exists in Florida, which is a major factor. There are innumerable beaches and unique tourist destinations in Florida. In addition, the city is home to a number of secret parks, which locals are welcome to visit any time of year. You need to find these pursuits in order to make your house a pleasant place to live.

Basic Costs of Maintenance

The low taxes in Florida are a major draw for many people. There should be a quick review of the state’s tax structure and the current housing market. These are only a few of the many factors that should be carefully weighed before making a move. A major perk, though, is that Floridians don’t have to pay income tax, and this is just perfect when moving back to California after college. Housing is affordable

Depending on where you settle in the state, you may be able to get very cheap flats. There are reports that the median listing price for a home in Tallahassee is currently $249,900, while in Jacksonville it is $279,000. Of course, the asking price for a home in a coastal area like Miami, Destin, or any other such place, will be more. As a result of the high demand for real estate in Florida, prices have increased due to bidding wars. Still, you may be able to find a property for substantially less than the national median sales price of $408,100, as reported by the Federal Reserve Economic Data website.

Get ready to experience the beautiful cuisine all over again

If you have a refined palate, one of the most crucial preparations you can do before moving back to California after college is to re-learn the local cuisine. Residential movers Miami can remind you of the best places to visit if you use their services. Fish tanks are unnecessary at this location. But the choice is solely yours to make. Seafood, including lobster, sea crab, fish, clam, snapper, and clams, are readily available in Florida due to the state’s location between the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic Ocean. The staples available in different parts of Florida vary. Southern cooking, influenced by Cajun and Creole flavors, may be found throughout the northern portion of the Sunshine State. On the other hand, the southern section is influenced by Cuban and Caribbean cuisine. Additionally, you will experience some peculiar eating practices.

As you know sports are important in Florida

Some of the best sports teams in the country, from the professional level to the university level, call Florida home. When compared to the average of one or two professional football clubs per state, Florida has three. Florida is home to two MLB clubs, two NBA squads, and two NHL squads. Florida is home to many prominent sports teams, including the Miami Heat, Miami Dolphins, Jacksonville Jaguars, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Orlando Magic, Tampa Bay Rays, and Miami Marlins. There are both current-student and alumnus-led teams at universities including Florida State University and the University of Florida.

Florida gets old quickly

Living in Florida could get old quickly if you’re not a tourist, as most permanent residents of tourist hotspots aren’t. Preceding data showed that 65.5 million people traveled to Florida in the first half of 2018. To put it another way, if someone tries to reassure you that it’s not a big deal, they’re lying. Still, some cities see a lot fewer tourists than others. It’s likely that there will be more tourists than natives when you visit Tampa, Destin, or Orlando. But if you reside in a place like Vero Beach, one of the best beach communities in the United States, you can expect fewer tourists. So it’s your choice if moving back to California after college is a good decision in the end.
