In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, and being deemed “essential business” by the governor of the state of Florida, we want to assure you, our loyal customers, that Pro Movers Miami has, and always will, put the safety of our team and that of our customers first and foremost. We are committed to following all best practices and guidelines for sanitation and for cleanliness, and are taking all of the necessary precautions as we proceed to service your move. To that end, extensive measures are being taken wherever possible to combat the spread of this virus, while still being safe and efficient as we continue to provide you with the first-class, five star moving experience that you have come to expect of us. Here are some of the proactive measures we’ve implemented and will continue to implement:

  • All estimates are being provided over the phone, virtually, on-line or via email until further notice.
  • Pre-move wellness checks for both our customers and our crew members, where all will be asked to advise us if you feel ill or suspect exposure to the virus. For our movers it would be mandatory that they stay home, and for our customers, moving services can be rescheduled, postponed or cancelled to mitigate risk, should that be necessary.
  • Our crews are equipped with gloves, disinfectant sprays/wipes and hand sanitizer for your protection and theirs.
  • We have put into effect social distancing measures, and although we have always valued the professionalism and respect that comes along with a good introductory handshake and a departing thank you, we ask for your understanding that for the safety and well-being of everyone, there’ll be no handshake or touching of any kind.
  • Upon arrival, our crew will still introduce themselves, walk through the home with appropriate social distance, begin to protect the home with all safeguards like floor runners, and door jams (as they always do), but in addition we ask you now (with all due respect), to please give them the appropriate space they need to safely and efficiently service your move and allow them space to do their job.
  • When available and appropriate, open doorways and windows to increase air circulation and ventilation.
  • We are also taking measures to sanitize the cabs and boxes of our trucks, as well as all blankets, pads, tools and equipment after each and every move to reduce any risk of cross-contamination.
  • It is our hope and our expectation that you will take the same precautionary measures that we are taking, and that will also sanitize and wipe down any and all exposed surfaces and furniture prior to our arrival. Anything that you can do to help keep our working conditions safe and sanitary for our men, is equally appreciated.
  • Owners / office staff will be working around the clock from home with complete access for our team and our customers via phone, email and text.

Again, thank you for choosing Pro Movers Miami, it is our sincere pleasure to serve you. Our Promise to you, and no matter what circumstances, is to continue to deliver the 5 stars moving service that our customers depend on. Hibiscus Island is an exclusive, man-made island. In order to adjust after moving to Hibiscus Island make sure to learn something about this unique neighborhood. Only some of the famous people are Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, etc. It is a community of lavish waterfront residences. The most popular activities are dining at famous restaurants and taking a walk through the Art Deco District. So, if you are convinced, hire Pro Movers Miami to help you with the relocation process.

Exploring the new surroundings is one of the top things you can do to adjust after moving to Hibiscus Island

The best way to adjust to a new city is to get to know it very well. Make sure to learn your way around the streets, buildings, and important locations. So, for example, if you want to have fun you can visit Jungle Island. It is one of the most popular amusement parks in the states and its opening hours are every day from 10-17. If you are into contemporary art, Perez Art Museum is absolutely a must-see. See, it already feels easier! In addition, if you still need services from some of the best moving companies Miami Dade, do not hesitate to hire them as soon as possible and make your life easier.  When you know the new place and finish your moving details, you will be able to fully enjoy the new experience. Eventually, you will also start feeling safe and “at home” in your new surroundings.

Make your home pleasant to live in

Maybe it sounds like a new age cliche, but in order to be ready for what is outside, you need to be peaceful from within.  In order to feel safe and comfortable in your own home, you need to make it cozy for yourself. In other words, you need to make your new place feel like home. Unpack all your necessary household items and the decorations you have chosen to bring with you. Basically, the smallest things will actually make your new home charmingly unique. In a way, you are making your own sanctuary, so feel free to decorate it whatever you want. Also, please do not forget to have routine activities. Routine sounds boring, but it will ground you and probably even make you fit if you decide to jog by the beach every morning.

Get to know people

Especially if you are introverted it will be slight of a challenge to you to make new acquaintances. Still, no worries since it would be difficult for anyone. However, what you can do is take small steps. Start with your neighbors. It is a little bit weird to go door by door and say hi but you can think of some funny story or borrow some tools or similar. In that way, you will start a conversation and maybe even develop a potential friendship. Even if we are sure that one of the best moving companies Miami Beach did their thing perfectly, it is no harm to ask your neighbor for help for a little bit of re-decorating. You can even make a housewarming party and invite your new co-workers and neighbors together. It will be a fun and adventurous experience.

Be open to new experiences

Your new life will have tons of numerous new opportunities. We know that besides new adventures and new possibilities, there is always a little bit of fear, however, try to face it and get out there! Maybe you will even daydream about your previous life. Still, remember, you are the one who wanted this opportunity. If everything was so ok, you would have never stayed there. So, stop whining and take charge of the change. Feel free to enjoy what your new place has to offer. For instance, local community projects can be great since you will both be social and fight for an important cause. Pursue outdoor activities since it would really be such a shame to miss something like that on Hibiscus Island. Adrenaline junkie jet boat ride is one of the most interesting activities you can do around here.

Last but not least you need to accept things as they are. Only then you will truly be able to adapt. Your new city may not be perfect, but you need to focus on the good things, and eventually, you will grow to love it. If you focus on the negative sides and compare your new life to your old one, you will never be able to accommodate. So, just admit that there are some various advantages of your new surroundings and learn to appreciate the differences. This will make your mindset more positive and it will help you grow as a person.
