Moving to a new home brings a lot of excitement, but it can also cost a lot of money. From buying packing boxes to hiring a great crew, expenses add up fast. Your financial budget is usually tight during a relocation.
Our team works hard to make your move as easy and stress-free as possible. We use highly skilled crews who do everything in their power to keep your items perfectly safe. However, accidents can still happen. Things can get lost or damaged while on the road.
The last thing you need during a move is an unexpected expense. That is why getting moving insurance is a very smart choice. Insurance gives you complete peace of mind. You can choose from limited coverage to full value return. It is completely up to you to pick the best fit for your needs.
The Protection Advantage
Choosing our moving services means you get top-tier care. We want your relocation to be totally smooth. Still, a bumpy road, sharp turn, or sudden stop can cause issues inside the moving truck.
Having the right insurance means you are never left paying for accidents out of your own pocket. We offer many plans to fit any budget. With the right plan, your finances stay safe and secure.
Our Moving Insurance Options
Insurance comes in many shapes and sizes. Before you pick a plan, you must understand how it works. You need to know exactly what is protected during the trip.
Full Service – All Risk Insurance This plan is designed to cover all your losses. It is the best choice if you want total safety. It covers your items during transport, storage, and even while loading the truck. This works for moves within Florida, across state lines, and overseas. It gives you full replacement value and comes in two forms:
- Full Replacement Value – Valued Inventory For this choice, you write down every single item you want to move. You also list how much each item costs to replace. Writing this list takes some time, but it helps a lot if an accident occurs. You can group things like “bedroom clothes.” If a grouped item breaks, the payout is based on the average cost of that group. If an item is not on the list, it is not covered.
- Full Replacement Value – Lump Sum This is a great option if you do not want to list every single item. You simply declare the total value of your whole shipment. However, any single item worth $1,000 or more must be listed by itself. Those expensive items count toward your total declared value.
Valued Inventory or Lump Sum? Both options follow the same rules and offer the exact same coverage. The main difference is the paperwork. With Valued Inventory, you list everything. With Lump Sum, you only list items over $1,000.
Full Service – Named Perils
This plan also offers great protection. It covers damages during transport and storage. However, it does not cover damages that happen while loading the truck. It only covers specific accidents listed clearly in the contract. Please read the terms closely. This plan also has two types:
- Selected Inventory: Like the valued list, you write down your items before moving day. It offers strong coverage because it does not lower the payout for item age.
- Total Value: This protects your whole shipment. You just need to list any items worth $500 or more on their own.
Other Insurance Types We offer other choices too. Some plans protect your items if you load the truck yourself. Others cover rented trucks. You can even buy plans that only pay out during major natural disasters. Every move is unique. We will help you find a plan that fits your exact situation.
